Excellent location for our stop over when travelling between Sydney and Melbourne. Clean, spacious with friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

A convenient location, plenty of services in the locality for all our needs, great rates on the rooms, good rooms always really well kept and presented, and fitted with everything we need. Possibly the best motel we've stayed in. 5* well deserved.

This is a surprisingly stylish and modern place to stay in orbost. Great furnishings, comfy beds and nice breakfast provisions. Staff were friendly and helpful too. Give it a try, no regrets.

Great motel to stay at. Very welcoming on arrival. Rooms spotless and well equipped. Pleasantly surprised to find fridge contained frozen meals for the weary traveller. Quiet out of town location.

Nice room layout, very good & friendly service, with the motel being in a convenient location not far from the township center, and a sufficient distance from the major roads to be nice & quiet overnight.

Wonderful modern hotel a short walk from the town centre of Orbost. Staff couldn't be more helpful with everything. Clean and very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches such as snacks and microwave meals. Definitely a great stop to stay short or longer term.

Great hotel, very clean and well appointed.
Bed was very comfortable, i was able to organize late check in as I was riding the rail trail. Warm and comfortable on arrival.
It is a little out of town, approx 1 km walk but it is the nicest hotel in my opinion so worth the stroll, obviously if you have a car that’s no problem. Great blockout blinds, was very quiet at night, I couldn’t hear any road noise at all. Great shower and generous sized bathroom. Great attention to detail.
I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Love this place. Beautiful rooms that were very clean and beds were big and comfy. Easy check and good communication from the owners. Have stayed twice now and wouldn't stay anywhere else. My only suggestion is close the bathroom door if you don't want to be woken up by blinding sunlight ha ha!

Excellent choice for a one night stop over, or more if you want to go explore the region! This was our gap stop to Philip Island from Sydney. Fantastic modern and very comfortable rooms, awesome location and great customer service. Definitely recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed.

Great stay at this motel. Greeted by the owner who was very friendly and helpful. Shown to my room as well. I was in the one bedroom apartment which was perfect. Very comfortable bed, nice hot strong shower, big tv and very clean. Awesome kitchen with full fridge, oven/stove and coffee machine. I had a lovely private courtyard out the back which was peaceful. Best of all, I slept so well. Couldn't hear anyone in neighbouring rooms at all.

I would definitely stay again when in the area.

A lovely place, surprisingly modern inside, a good size, and really lacking in nothing. 15 minutes from Marlo and 2 minutes into Orbost.

Orbost Motel are run by the most wonderful people! Not only is the place beautiful, clean, peaceful and comfortable, but when my daughter and I left some items behind by accident, the staff drove them all the way to Melbourne to get them back to us. I was blown away by how responsive, thoughtful and helpful the people who run this place are. I couldn't recommend them more highly! Absolutely 5 stars!! Thank you William!

Stayed one night as a single, travelling to Canberra. Room was comfortable, clean and had everything a weary traveller needed. Would highly recommend. Quiet location, comfy bed and wifi was terrific.

The room was spotless and modern. Check in was easy. Loved the use of metal materials in the design of the room. Just off the highway but far enough away that you didn’t know (not that there is a lot of traffic). Highly recommend.

Lovely little motel just on the outskirts of Orbost. Sets itself apart with the very different wood & tin themed room furniture compared to many other motels. Really liked it.

All the amenities were working well & there's a Nespresso pod machine.

Fijian manager was engaging & fun to chat with. It's about 2 kms from the Orbost pub & chinese

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beds and towels of excellent quality. Microwave, Nespresso. Very much appreciated a jug of milk. Two frozen meals in freezer. The door lock was a bit of a challenge initially. We would definitely book here again.

After a relatively long road trip this was one of the best if not the best comared to other accommandation that we had incountered and thank you to Vaanie & William for making our over night stay relaxing and enjoyable. The whole experience was great from the facilities to the very comfortable bed.

Neat and clean room with modern decor and very comfortable bed. The motel is in a quiet location off the main road and only a few minutes drive from Orbost township. Polite and helpful staff. Would gladly stay there again in the future.

My daughter and I booked a twin room . Best nights sleep . Very comfortable bed and lovely linen . Double glazed windows made it very quiet . Everything worked , coffee was great and room was very clean . Andrew was welcoming and extremely helpful. Thanks a lot Peter

I recently had family members travelling interstate when one of them experienced a medical episode. I needed to organise accommodation for them in Orbost, and found Orbost Motel upon Googling.
I rang through after hours and the phone was answered by a kind and patient gentleman who helped me arrange a room for the night. I was unable to say when the group would arrive as they were at the hospital- he let me know how they could access the room, and went in and turned the heater on and left milk in the fridge.
I had nothing but positive feedback from my family about how grateful they were to walk into a warm space that was clean and tidy.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Orbost Motel during a road-trip through East Gippsland. The room was well-appointed, with a full-sized fridge and effective air-conditioner/heater. The bed was very comfortable and had nice linen. We would stay here again, and recommend it to anyone travelling to the region.

My friend and I booked the twin bed room. We were both thoroughly impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the decor was simple but elegant. The split system heater was very quiet but also very efficient in warming our room. We both had a wonderful sleep in the queen sized beds which were very comfortable and clean and the pillows were very comfortable as well. We are both quite fussy with pillows and usually bring our own however they were not needed this time. The bathroom was clean with lush towels and the complimentary shampoo and conditioner smelled divine. Check in and check out was very seamless.

We would absolutely stay again and agreed it was one of the best hotel/ motel stays we have had in quite some time. Highly recommend the Orbost Motel, you won’t be disappointed.

Cosy, comfortable room. My husband particularly appreciates it when there is a jug of fresh milk in the refrigerator. Also, there was room to park our trailer outside.
